On a day that could only be described as RAINY, Melissa & John were married.
The super organized team at Bridgewater Estate were hoping for the best and had both indoor and outdoor ceremony location ready to go in case of a break in the weather.
Fortune smiled on us and a gap opened up just long enough for their vows to be shared in the open air just as Melissa had wished, and then closed….

I thought I had seen colour… but I hadn’t SEEN colour at a wedding like this before!
Grey and raining certainly wasn’t going to dull Jaime & Harry’s gorgeous wedding at Kelliher Estate on Puketutu Island, (near Auckland Airport). These two along with their hilariously funny bridal party were having a blast despite the weather.

A truly modern love story.
Kellie and Dave were reunited through Facebook from opposite sides of the world after losing touch for many years. The university friends went their separate ways as their students days came to an end, Dave back to the Isle of Man and Kellie eventually found her way to New Zealand. Dave never forgot about Kellie and one day plucked up the courage to contact her via the social media site! The rest as they say is history – congratulations!

On Saturday I was invited along to a very special ceremony at Whakanewha Regional Park here on Waiheke Island. Bernice & Jamie are a fun loving couple who half-eloped to the island for a morning ceremony with just the closest of friends and their daughter Ashleigh.
I agreed to prepare these images so they cold enjoy them at their Auckland reception later on that day. Hope you had a blast!
